The food is delicious but the service can be a bit slow. It's better that you decide fast what you want if there's many customers. But I really loved the seafood so I'm willing to look past the other issues. We went back here to eat again. I loved the seafood risotto and the mussels. They pack a lot of flavour and the broth in both is absolutely delicious. I would stay away from any grill food that comes with fries and try the risottos or the more traditional dishes. The gnocchi dishes were also delicious and perfectly cooked.

Looking for a restaurant which is not pretentious and good value for your money. We found it here. We ordered tomato soup, octopus salad and the cuttlefish risotto. They were all delicous. I loved the buttery taste of the black risotto, with pieces of cuttlefish. The octopus salad was just right, not too acidic or salty. The soup had bits of rice in it to make it interesting. The service could be a bit slow, since we had to ask twice for our bill. All the rest was very good.

My husband and I loved this restaurant - it was our favorite in old town Split. In fact, we ended going there two nights in a row. The prices are very reasonable for this quality of food. Our meals were under 12 euros each - we paid twice that for much less (quality and quantity) at other restaurants in the area. The house wines (both red and white) were excellent. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. Our waiters were helpful and pleasant both nights. Altogether, a lovely dining experience.
