After having seen the amazing viewpoints at Mount Pilatus my wife and I were super hungry and were split between eating at Pilatus Kulm or going to Lucerne for lunch. So glad we decided to eat here! We were absolutely stunned by the views from the outdoor seating. We ordered the garlic bread, Alpine macaroni with apple sauce, Tomato and Potato gnocchi. They had two portion sizes and we went for the smaller size for macaroni and bigger for the gnocchi. Our server helped us in selecting the potion sizes and it was perfect for us. All the dishes were incredible!! We absolutely loved the garlic bread and gnocchi. The spectacular views made it a perfect meal!

Unfortunately we've never had great experiences with this restaurant. The first time we came the waiter was obviously overwhelmed - that's not his fault if he's in charge of 500 tables. After waiting what felt like an hour the potatoes in our spätzle were still crunchy. The most recent time we came we saw an interesting item on the menu - salad with grilled vegetables on top. What an interesting option. It tasted fine. We also had some french fries. In general I just feel that the waiters are very overwhelmed here, and mistakes are often made because of it. However, it's a very beautiful place.

The food was fantastic. The beef was just right and the fries were delicious too. The waiter was always available, even during busy hours. He was also very kind and had a great sense for humor. The interior design is very pleasing. I enjoyed our time and would come again, although the pricing is in the upper range.
