On a sunny Sunday afternoon we went to this place, chose cakes inside at the counter and sat down outside. This place was recommended to me by my good boss but unfortunately I was very disappointed. It took a while until a server came to get us the menu even though she knew we were there. And it took fairly long for her to come back to take our orders. And the whole time she was cold and rude towards us. The cakes and coffees tasted absolute mediocre. I could get much better sweets at a convenient store in Japan for sure! The lady came back when we wanted to pay and that was the only time she put a bit of effort to be teeny weeny bit nice to us but it sounded so fake I didn’t appreciate any of it. I have to say I cannot recommend this place to anyone. I will not come back to pay for such bad service and mediocre cakes.

Went there with no expectations for a lunch. It was my first time to visit, thank god for our waiter, he was lovely and made everything good, with him this review would have been 1 star. The place is wow, food is wow, service is awe full honestly! Stakeholders sort this out, either hire more staff. Or limit the occupancy in the place. It’s beautiful, and nice, but it’s not nice if waiters are shouting at you, and being rude! Spend 85 Euro, had pumpkin soup, superfood salad, coffee and lemon tart. Friends has a roasted beef and tiramisu 👍 if they fix the customer experience it can be a 5.

Having read reviews of Cafe Luitpold, I prepared for rude service staff and an unpleasant experience. However, the waiters were very friendly and helpful. Apple strufel was warm and yummy, served with vanilla sauce. Raspberry tart was good too. Definitely on the pricier side for a coffee, but worth visiting as the interior is beautiful.
