Amazing! So fascinating to look at this Roman history. The museum was very complimentary of English speakers. I recommend scanning the QR code when viewing the outdoor remains and following the guide, it was amazing!
We were so grateful to have come to this Museum. A modest yet wonderful collection & a hands-on taste of Roman History. Make sure to check out the basement level. For Anglophones there are no translations inside, but a laminated English printed guide you can borrow and follow along outside for the ruins. My Canadian-education French levels were enough to get by, with the occasional word looked up w/ my downloaded GoogleTranslate app. Highly recommend a visit if you are interested in history. A few of the indoor exhibits are interactive for little ones as well. In my opinion, it was well worth the 10€ each for us for the day pass. There is no option for paying just for one site - no matter what you’re getting the day pass with access to the other museums. I believe this would have been included in the 26€ French Riviera Côte d’Azure tourist pass as well. With our day pass we went to the Matisse museum next door, and that afternoon the Modern & Contemporary Art Museum too. Wonderful value, all included in the day pass.
For those that love Roman history, this is a must visit.
