Hidden gem. Look at the menu and not just what is on the specials board outside. I had the scallops and they were perfect with a carrot and quinoa base that as flavorful but subtle. The sea bream was amazing, and I don’t say that lightly, as I am a picky foodie. Micro greens on top of a perfectly crisped skin and a moist filet of sea bream on top of very soft and mild beets that were amazingly tasty in their own right. Perfectly executed by their chef. Great service and nice wine options. If you are looking for a fine meal in Bruges, I would highly recommend Restaurant De Stove.

The fish soup was very tasty, a little bit salty. The orange color cream was for bread, fresh taste. Kind service, lovely place

The one thing I value above all others in a restaurant is service - and this restaurant delivered, and then some. The co-owner who serves front of house is unassuming, speedy and friendly. His wife, who cooks, produces amazing flavours. We had scallops to start, in an wonderful slightly spicy broth, with shellfish. Fabulous. Then sea bream (maybe sea bass?) with a beetroot and potato puree. Not too crowded, it seems to attract a better level if clientele without being at all stuffy or pretentious. Totally recommend
